Windows Live Writer beta 2
I've blogged before about using Windows Live Writer. It's still my blog client of choice, and recently the second beta version was released. This new version includes:
- Inline spell checking
- Table editing
- Ability to add categories
- Support for excerpts and extended entries
- Improved hyperlinking and image insertion
- Paste Special
It's got a fancy new GUI too.

Man, where have you been for the last month and a bit. This is outstanding and if your not using it, your not trying. Don't forget to check out the plugins available at places like http://gallery.live.com.

PS. Just to update you, Vista has been released as well. ;-)

I said "recently" - doesn't last month count as "recently" in today's fast-paced society?

The browser based on Mozilla called Flock has a built in Blogging tool. Flock is not as advanced as WLW but it is so simply to use, you can drag images from the web page into the editor.
