Really free Wi-Fi

Want some free bandwidth with that coffee? Tim Norton's put together a list of free wi-fi hot spots in Melbourne. One correction: I think Wagamama has closed in Fitzroy Street, but they've opened elsewhere. Anyone know where 'tis? And whether they still have free Wi-Fi.

They've opened in QV - replacing Vine Leaves on the same level as Max Brenner's and 3 Degrees. That area is an Azure hotspot so I doubt there would be a free one operating as well.

I think the term "moved" may be PR spin. A new Wagamama has opened in QV in the CBD and the one in Fitzroy St did close. No idea if the new one has wifi though. I'm amazed that many of these places don't even list wifi on their websites when it is such a marketing draw. I long ago gave up on the Wagamama food but would have been a regular if I'd known about the wifi.

Microsoft only list 3 Free Hotspots.... http://hotspot.live.com

With any luck they will add Tim's list to the site and keep adding more 'free hotspots' to the list which is quite comprehensive if you want to pay for WiFi access...
