The top 10 Firefox extensions

At last count, there were 970 Firefox extensions - those little add-ons that add convenience and power to our favourite browser. Here's one view of the 10 absolute must-haves. Tried them all? What's your view? And do you have an alternative list?

And while we're at it, has anyone tried Performancing for Firefox 1.1? It's a blog editor that fits right into the browser, with a split-screen view of what you're working on. We're having a play, and so far we're impressed.

Always useful to be pointed to extensions Charles, picked up the adblock software and the tabmix. My own favcurite Firefox extension is prebar. It gives you control over java, colours, images and flash via a simple check box toolbar.

I also note your high level of professionalism in pointing your readers to a site that has as one of its first recommendations an adblocker. One that renders invisible the google ads on your own site, thus risking your own revenue. Needless to say I used the adblock preferences button to enable ads on this site and its subpages. And I will continue to click on the google ads that interest me and feel good knowing I am supporting your site by doing so!!!
