DPExpert goes live

The infant DPExpert blog has finally been born. It's got a lot of growing to do, and its face will probably take an entirely different shape, but we hope you'll get the general idea. As always, we'd love to get your opinion and advice.

Format of the DPExpert blog seems familiar...

Although I haven't yet splashed out on a digital camera, the GG articles from those nice people at Imaging have been indispensible points of reference and I had thought that clippings from the GG would have to be archived for later use. Now that Messers Lane and Wright have organised to have them appear online I can read and search them at my leisure. Beaut!

The pictures of cameras reviewed make the blog sparkle but stretch the load time for dial-up users. That's not altogether bad: there are a few other blogs I visit time and time again that also load slowly because of the size and number of images displayed, and what sort of a DPExpert would have a blog with substandard photography on show?

Thumbs up!
